Meet Darius
Nashville-based music producer, songwriter and keyboardist Darius Mines breathes the essence of production.
Born to a musical family, he started to make music in the Black church at the age of 6 using the experience to learn the ins and outs of live and recorded music. As a graduate of Old Dominion University,
Darius pioneered the first independent recording artist organization, giving a space to over 100 up-and-coming musicians while earning his BA in Music Business, including Masego, Cam Murdoch, amongst others.
The relocation to Nashville,TN in 2014 has yielded 4 million+ streams, 6 Billboard charting songs, 100+ national releases, sync placements with Victoria Secret, Burger King, and producing music for Snoop Dogg, Dave Aude, Leann Rhimes, Rayvon Owen (American Idol), and receiving a Dove Award nomination for "Best Traditional Gospel Album" with Earl Bynum.
He is working with major and independent clients, currently releasing music via his record imprint, Chousewave, and creating beginner piano content.
